I have just bought a new Western 7.6 ultramount plow, This is my first plow and would like some advise on what emergency parts I should have on hand for those 4 am breakdowns.
I see Western has there own kits for sale, are they a good investment or can I make my own kit cheaper. And if I make my own emergency kit what do I need. thanks green leaf

Not sure you need a kit but I would carry a extra pivot pin for that model plow and possible a jack if hydralics fail and you need to get plow up and chained to limp it to shop or garage to work on it. (I do not think that this is the correct place to post this though)

Tools are nice but it is not too cool to mess with the pumps internals in a lot when snow is plowing and it is cold out too. I had to tear one down outside once when it was zero but I had a 75,000 BTU heater too while doing it.
