A newbie here. I am trying to find out if there is a wiring harness adapter to plug directly into the light wiring harness on my 98 GMC 1500 into the wiring harness for the plow lights. the plow lights have the 5 prong style connector on them. My goal is to keep from haveing to cut and splice into the truck harness. The plow is a meyer and the lights are after market truck lite i believe. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Check with Meyer for a wiring harness which should have the correct headlight adapters to plug in to your trucks wiring harness. You will probably have to do the splicing at the aftermarket headlights for the plow, but at least your factory truck wiring remains intact.
