Total of about 6" light fluffy stuff here, just finished my route.

Possible 6" more coming Tuesday, but for now they're saying the heavy part of the storm will be east of us.

3.5” top of one piece of the route. 1.25-2” on several accounts. Most under and inch. All done. Tuesday will be big for us I think. Think everyone will have Monday off.

Hate to see the words very heavy next to 1-2 feet…
I'm in the Heavy range....... guess I'll wait and see what happens.

Luckily the last two plowable events here for me were on a weekend. I'm 100% residential and none of my customers work weekends.

I’m sure I’ll hate life. Bringing in some help for it. We shall see.
Wish I was closer..... I'd come in to help out.

And...the tranny on the Suburban (4L80E, I think) started slipping in reverse last weekend while plowing my driveway. Hoping this storm doesn't kill it. Planning on just tossing a used unit in, but haven't gotten to it yet. We are on the northern edge of the "heavy" area, our property sits in the shadow of a small range about 3 miles to the west of us. We are kind of in the "bermuda triangle" area for snow and precipitation. As systems come over the ridge from the west, they DUMP on us, generally ending up with 2x the snow that falls in Saratoga.

Awesome. Hope you made friends with another plow guy. I know several people who will probably calling for help after this one. Loader time.

Thankfully, I have no "route", and only two other people I have been taking care of for the last 5-6 years on a "can't complain when I get there if I don't bill you" basis. This fall I had the opportunity to pull apart a fisher pump and motor one of my neighbors had on his plow truck that was giving him trouble (pick-up tube had the weirdest sludge on it, and was killing the plow). Pretty sure he will be willing to swing by and finish up (and tow my truck back to the garage) if I completely nuke the tranny. Fingers crossed.

Long storm. Some cheapskates trying to do partial removals which makes negotiating interesting. 31” is the official at base.
Going up into North River and Indian lake to clear out utility locations next.
Lot of salting today. Hope we move the piles before tomorrow with the 44 forecast temp.
