I've had mine for a year now and so far its been a good plow. If you ordered a 8.5 plan on replacing the cutting edge fairly soon. Mine wore down within hours, we fixed it by replacing it with a 1/2 edge and added Meyers curb guards, that made it even thicker at the ends. Its a fast plow so be careful until you get used to it. They did come out with a replacement edge (4 piece) but I havent needed to replace last years edge yet. I am noticing some stress cracks on the solid metal "nose piece" thing that holds the top of the chain, I have to take it to the dealer Monday. Before and after you use it a few times make sure the bolts stay tight along the top of the mold board (mine came loose). Its a great plow IMO.

Put mine on Dec 31, and so far I like it. I have the new welded edge and wear/curb shoes. As such, It doesn't clean as well as my x-blade but I think the shoes have wear a little before the blade will scrape well.

It is super fast and because there are so many buttons on the fishstick I have nightmares about moving it parallel to an expensive set of garage doors and wiping them out by mistake. I'm sure it will happen to someone. The scoop function works great and the 9.5 holds quite a bit of snow and definitely stacks it higher than my old x-blade when in this configuration. This scoop saves tons of time and was worth the upgrade. The vee mode allowed me to quickly plow partially around a large building that is not maintained or paved and also makes a great first pass on wide roads if the snow is deep.

Plowed 19 inches of untouched heavy snow on a gravel lot and did fairly well. The ground was not frozen as the snow was an insulator and this made it a little tough as it would have been with the x-blade. I'm also enjoying the wide blade as I can get deeper into corners and don't run over my path as often as I used to. Is it heavy? AYUP!

Got A 8.5ft Mild Steel . How Do The Cutting Edges Hold Up? Do The Come With Them Or Are They An Afterthought? What Did U Guys Pay For Yours?
I was quoted $ 5700.00 for a 8.5 SS Xtream V. Then was told, sorry no can do. No one wants to fab up a push frame due to liability issues. Now I have to find out what the differance is between mine and FG modle.
