Just picked it up. Cleanest K1500 I'v come across in a long time. It has a couple little dings and by the tailpipe, the paint flaked off. No actual rust. Should be a decent truck for this winter

I realy like the truck it's self. But, (no offence) I don't care for the wheels, cap, or the plow.

I was wondering if those were right. There are ridiculous in the cab... The plow does lift high, but damn, there out there...

I agree on the blade, Id hang a Boss off it if I could, the caps on since I just picked it up... I might see if I can stand it since it would be nice to have all my snow equipment dry... And I like the wheels, but that gen had good Z71 wheels too...

The unimount I had on my 98 k1500 had similar light brackets that doubled as radio antenna's. Never had a problem seeing over the plow even fully raised. lol

Clean looking truck. Thought you had a regular cab 2500hd with a 5 speed in it though?

I remember your K1500, I liked that truck with the wings... I actually sold the 2500HD with all my lawn care equipment, so it went too. I was done with all the lawn and snow stuff, but I had over half of my clients call wanting me to plow this season. So I went ahead and made a small investment and am gonna go back at plowing for another year.

I like the truck. The only thing I would change is get some factory western lights for it and your good to go.

Thanks! Its hard telling when my stuff goes up for sale, but I always wanted a truck this year, exterior color, and interior color. Finding one thats in almost mint shape to boot. If your wondering why that combo, I always wanted this green, with tan guts, and they 98 model year truck had the slammer steering wheel like the 99-02's. Not a big deal, but it was one of the weird things I liked about my 2000.

Thanks! Its my first go around with a 1500, Im gonna be easy on it and not take on too much where Im having to cut corners and rush. Hard to pass up the almost perfect truck. Would of loved to have a Boss off the front... After driving it in town today, the topper will be sure coming off.

Heres another clean OBS 1500 I looked at, but they weren't coming much off the $6995 listed... Even has the same newer Avalanche style wheels. Cant see spending that much on a 96 without a plow though... I took the cap off mine, so Ill get some more pictures of it this week!

I love those stepsides but what is underneath them chrome strips. A lot of people use them to hide rust.

Clean truck. That cap makes it look like a Suburban.

I gave it a good once over, looked clean, but would of got under it and started looking if I was more serious about the truck. I always liked the step-sides too though.
