New this winter 08 F550!

    Bought this beast in the fall. Had some time to take pics while its nice out today in Chicago. Looks like no snow anytime soon.

    Great Looking Rig!

    If it were mine, I'd axe that V-box and put a replacement tailgate spreader on instead. You'd easily shed 1000 pounds or better and it would give you that much more hauling capacity.

    I would rather have tailgate spreader just like you said holds much more but the truck came with the spreader so for this winter I will leave it.

    Understandable. Sweet looking V-box though. Should be able to get some good money out of it if you sell it.

    Do you have central hydros on the truck? If not it seems like the electric tailgate setups work pretty good from what I hear.
