I just installed two new snow ex 8500 v boxes and after getting them all set up and turned them on, both had the auger motors wired wrong, and the auger ran backwards. So if you have a new spreader, before trying to use it make sure the auger turns the right way, its a easy fix once you know what the problem is.

hmmm... this might be bigger than you think. I know someone that had two 9300 that did the same thing, but things broke before they figured it out. surprise snowex hasn't chimmed in on this. Maybe he's too busy drug testing his employees...

We are aware that a few of the augers were wired backwards and have sent the proper notification to our Authorized Dealers. We know that this was a limited problem and have corrected it. If there is a problem, it is located at the connection to the motor and the wires have to be switched. Your Authorized Dealer can do this under warranty. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
