Hey guys, new to plowsite. New to plowing in general. I'll start out saying that i've searched already. In the next couple weeks I should have a 1999 F350 DRW service truck in my possession with an 8.5' Western unimount.

The truck has an aluminum lift gate on the back. With the lift gate whats the best way to mount a spreader? Id like to keep the lift gate functional to load and unload the blower. Saw some manufacturers offer a "swing away" spreader mount. Anybody run one of these? Specifically on a truck with a lift gate?

I imagine it will require some modification but thats perfectly fine with me.

If anyone has any info, pictures, or suggestions, i'd greatly appreciate it!
