I was at a dealer today and he did have the cutting edge's on the plows that were out of the packages.

How will it not scrape good if you don't wear down the trip edge? Is it because the metal will double?

A Fisher plow is a very sturdy plow and you can add a cutting edge to plow trip edge if you want but it will take a while to wear one down even if you do not. If you are on of those that likes to run no shoes all of the time you might like a plow with a reversable cutting edge instead like a Western or a Boss full trip plows or maybe even a Curtis which has a trip edge plow with a reversable edge too. There is a Fisher X blade too which supports a reversable edge for longer life
