I just had a Southbend clutch put in my truck and the flywheel machined 3000-ths of an inch. The original clutch was still good. I just wanted to change since it has 123k miles.

The new clutch chatters and is noisy somewhat while driving. It has a constant chatter in idle. I assume that will go away with miles? How should it be broken in?

i think they recomend you to go easy on it for a while and use 1st gear on take offs to avoid any chatter or stress for the first few hundred miles.

Ok, that basically what I've been hearing.
