We have 3 LT Rich Snowrators in our fleet and just purchased 5 new boss snowrators. Just want to know if anyone else is having the same issues.
1-We have had two storms in NH so far. The LT Rich snowrators held up nicely. The 5 Bosses all had issues. Two have left rear drive motor leaking high psi seals. Two have engine to pump coupling lock rings falling off. MY GUESS IS THAT'S WHY LT RICH ADDED A TECH SCREW TO THE COUPELING LOCK RING. We put between 33 & 40 hrs on the boss Snowrator plows and the steel cutting edges already need to be flipped. The extended height of the Boss plow now blocks the spreader spinner. BOSS COULD OF RAISED THE HOPPER A COUPLE OF INCHES TO AVOID THIS ISSUE. Screws and nuts falling off hydraulic plow control handle linkages. THEIR NOT EVEN LOCK NUTS. Just some of the little things that we don't need to deal with new machines during a storm. If anyone else has had any other issues with the new Boss Snowrators I'd love to hear them. More cost efficient to be proactive than reactive
