Dont know if i should get a western next year. Just wondering if my truck will over heat with the plow being taller then meyers. The meyers dealer is closer but every one tells me to stay away. I have a chevy 1500 regular cab short bed

Hey !! Ya i use to have meyer on all my trucks but kept having problems with their pumps. Thank god i only i have 1 truck left with a meyer plow all my new trucks have western now. 3 years now and did nothing besides change the hydraulic oil. I think western is a great plow !!
On a chevy 1500 i would go with a western 7'6" pro plow its 29" high you'll have plenty of room for air flow.
