I bought a MM1 6.5 foot plow for a 2000 Dodge Dakota, push plates #7165 and the problem is that the push plates are 3 1/4" wider than the attachment arm of the plow frame. Is there a different set of push plates to fit this MM1 plow or is there something else I need to purchase to make this work?

    Thanks for any suggestions,

Hate to say it...you're screwed. I did the same thing, so don't feel bad. You bought a light duty plow, but for some unknown reason the guys over at Fisher decided to consider the Dakota a full size truck. You'll need a standard duty plow, which has the larger frame (29ish inches), not the smaller 24ish inches. That small blade would be too small anyways, when you angle the plow it would be narrower than the truck. Unless you're handy with a welder, you'll be buying a new plow soon.

That is kind of what I thought. Thanks for the info and the quick response. Got a welder all lined up.
