My 7.5' MM1 took a beating last winter and I'm looking to swap out the blade for a decent used one. I have seen a couple listings for SpeedCast blades on the cheap... Will a 7.5' SpeedCast mount to my MM1 frame without major alterations?? Thanks.

1st measure the mounting ears on both to be sure, then you will need to add angle to the back of the ears of the speedcast to contact the spring for tension- look at the aframe on your MM1 - the4 speedcast didn;t have that on the earliest and the angle brace was much further forward on the later ones.
    Simple cut and weld.

If your A frame is good, put the speedcast blade on your A frame it will fit, if the MM1 A frame is beat then do what justme posted.
