    I was working on an e60 motor today. I tore it all apart, cleaned it, ect.. It was full of corrosion. I took all of the brushes out and they look fine. I was wondering if anyone knows the approximate rpm's this motor should spin at? It seemed to be very slow. Like maybe 50 rpm's. We hooked it directly to the battery with jumper cables and it still did this. We also used the ground to make sure this was solid. Any ideas?

    My service manual says;
    No load speed [motor not attached to pump]
    Applied voltage--------12 volts DC
    Max. current draw-----150 Amps
    Speed [min.]----------3200 RPM

    Do not operate continuously for more than 30 seconds.
