I run an F-450 "04" w/ reading service body, I was wondering the law about strobes. I ordered a hideaway system and was planning on putting the two front stobes in the amber markers but when i went to look at the markers there clear with amber bulbs. Ive read on other post about people installing them in headlights, but im not sure if a white strobe is leagal in Md. and Pa. If anyone is up to the law in those states id appreciate the info.

You may get the main page with the warning about the site and you have to click enter. After that the list on the left under laws. Then just click your state.

There is also a nice write up on there about lights. The bottom of that list is a link called :Light Article". It is a good read if you have a couple of minuets to spare.

There is nothing listed there for Maryland, but its a good site.

I think so long as you use amber/clear strobes and do not try to use them to move traffic out of your way while driving on the road you should be fine.
