making diamond mdll 7'6 into a 8'6 plow

    I just got a used diamond md2 7'6 plow I going to put it on a 08 dodge dually and I need to make it a 8'6 foot I can make the mold board out of 3/16 steel and get a 8'6 cutting edge but the cutting edge will be 6 inches on each side past the pin for the trip edge do you guys think it will work ok

    so you just say NO with no reason why don't you think it will work I did it to a 7'6 myers and it worked for 5 years and I sold it and the guy still using it that way

    What about adding a set of wings instead of a new moldboard?

    have u ever seen a tripedge with wings I haven't show me some oh am I'm not going to reskin the all of it just add a piece 18 inches on each side and weld it

    It will probably work as well as ripping off blind hams
