Lugnut Torque

    What do you torque lugnuts to. Nothing special for wheels or tires.

    Just curious.

    My 6 bolt pattern 2003 Z71 calls for 140 lbs

    I won't tell you to do a search, (aren't you lucky?) but I will tell you to look at your owner's manual, if you've still got it.
    Otherwise, you should tell us what year and model of truck, number of lugs, and preferrably the threads of the lugs.
    The proper torque differs depending on a number of factors, but fastener size is the biggest factor here. A six lug probably usually has smaller lugs than an eight.
    I don't recommend using a different value than the mfg. recommends. They've usually got that down.
