Looking to buy an newer truck! Would like some advice.

    Ive always been a ford fan. I want a single cab ford f250 or f350 automatic. Gas Im done with diesels! Looking to buy a new truck year 2000 or newer. Ideas. also beefing up the front end.

    Don't need to. Thvy have the leaf springs in them and they don't squat like the Chevy"s

    Without a specific question, it's hard to give a specific answer. However if you're looking for gassers, go with the V10 if you do any towing, the 5.4 is adequate for general hauling and plowing, but is a slug with a bit of weight behind it. 02 or newer will have the better head design with more plug threads reducing the possibility of losing a spark plug. 05 and newer gassers got a power bump for both engines and got the 5 speed trans which is a big improvement over the 99-04 4r100.
