We would be running this on a JD 3520.
They gave me a price of 12000 which seem a little pricey. The guy on the phone said he's never even sold one. Would like to here how it performs.

Did you call cummings and bricker out of Batavia? Their pricing is normally as low as you can get. I have no experience with the plow, but have bought alot of equipment from them.

Too expensive for the size of blade and tractor you plan to use. I've paid less than that to set our Fendt 712.

I've paid a bit over 10k for a 8-14 like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkxKjPVYQ00 . Mine doesn't angle and is more suited for a NH Tv serie. The price tag on what you're looking for doesn't make sense.

Seems way to expensive for what you're looking for.

For comparison a Metal Pless is $8900-$9200 depending on exact size, for a tractor the size of yours. Granted that's a hyd wing blade, not a v plow. But it gives you an idea.

I don't have any input to give you on that blade but yeesh that sounds expensive! Paul at Metal Pless quoted me a much better price ($9200) for what seems like a much more productive unit for that exact machine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DH6cS5IwY4I&feature=youtu.be

    Details here:

So unless you are in absolute need for a 7' V plow you may want to weigh your options.

You should maybe also check on prices for Machinability V plows:

And if you need a more affordable plow that isn't a V plow maybe call these guys: http://www.michironandequip.com/p/Subframe-Plow-Mounting

One last suggestion is contact your local boss dealer and see what kind of custom mount they could make for a 6'6" UTV V plow. It can be mounted to a compact tractor and only costs around $3300:

12k really sounds like a lot for a 7' V plow. I know Horst is quality but so is Metal Pless and Boss and Machinability so I'd weigh my options. Good luck!
