    Howdy all,
I am currently plowing about 6 driveways (neighbors) with my 1999 XJ Jeep Cherokee and a lightweight Western Suburbanite plow (which works great for me), but the Jeep is getting up there in the miles. This is my plow/tow boat/all winter long vehicle.

One plan I have is to get a 2003-2008 or so F-150 short bed (ideally stepside, like the look of those) regular cab. Are there any years to especially look for (was there a transmission change or something to better one year over another?).

Plow would probably be a 7.5' light one.
