Light issues

    I recently bought 2019 xt to replace my 2002 v plow. My question is will i need to get a new light harness to work with new lights? 2002 chevy.

    Yes, you will need to add switched neg. Adapter MSC11201 for the LED lights

    related question, is that one of the model/year of vehicle that had the dual burn wire off the GRD of battery on it?
    iirc 2002 or so gm was cutoff year before they went to std wire off POS terminal.
    followup not really needed for OP just the ? caught my eye.

    I dont think dual burn was until 07? I could be wrong though. The adapter mentioned is needed for any vehicle that uses a switched negative - the original halogens worked ok as is but the leds do not
