Hopefully this will never happen but has anyone ever have their lift cylinder fail and if so how easy was it to get the plow raised to insert the pin to hold the blade up. I was told just to push into a pile to get the blade up in the air but I dont believe the blade will come up high enought to line up the holes.

Unless you have something in the way it will go way past pin holes.
