on my e-47 meyer it leaks fluid under the motor out of a little hole, what is that hole and why is there fluid coming out. It's a slow drip, but it affects the pump. That's where the pump is right?ussmileyflag

thats a weep hole for the oil when it leaks past the pump shaft seal so it does not fill the electric motor full of oil .get a new seal and change it out .it can be fun to dig it out without damaging the seal surface in the pump.

If the leak is affecting the pump operation to the point that you notice it then it's probably leaking due to the gear pump being worn and in need of replacement. You can try changing the seal first but don't be surprised if it begins to leak again.
