    Hey all-
My buddy's got a 98 chevy k2500, 5.7 with like 200k on it. We spent the night trying to figure out his trailer brake controller that came in his truck when he bought it. It seems that the controllor is putting out constant current on the blue wire. On my dakota, my controller doesnt put out anything, even with it engaged, and i know for a fact from pulling a trailer with brakes that it works.

Can anyone explain how these things work? Im confused.

Also- he got a check engine light, with code p0170- running too lean bank 1. Im thinking mass airflow sensor? Anyone know if there something that is common for going out on these chevy's? Im a dodge guy, so im not all that well versed.

    Thanks guys.
