Have the chance to buy a brand new (in box) older style

buyers/meyer tailgate spreader. Guy wants $200.00 for it.
I cannot tell if the tailgate mount/control box is with it.

From what I can tell that model is no longer being made, but
what they want for replacment parts that seems to be a good

    What do you think?

Well, if the cab controller is missing, you can get them for about $150 - $200. Forget about the mounting brackets, you can get the receiver mount bracket for $200. The only drawback to the older style is the motor hangs VERY low, and it is easy to tear off, or damage. Motors run about $200 as well.

You can only run bagged salt with it. So, depending on how much (how many accounts) you want to use it , it is a pretty good deal IMO.
