OK, this popped up, so thought would share it. As Hella began reproducing their wiper switch, with delay incorporated, so no other module is needed, it seems there are complaints, the shaft is now plastic, and breaks very easily. Ya, I still would like delay for the front wiper on backhoe, even as little as I use the machine. I have been watching the bay for used, but much of the stuff is old style, a switch and external module, and used, and expensive.
Well, got a email flyer from a place I have purchased from, saw these, and thought I would pass it on. Wiper switched with delay incorporated, but sturdy. Turns out they are already in use by manufacturers, OTR trucks, boats, ships and equipment. They are rated "general heavy duty truck". They are for permanent magnet motors, which most wiper motors are.

Yes, wash is built in, if needed, push in on switch.
Yes, it is 12v, but they make them for up to 36v systems.
Basically, this is a "in use" switch, without a manufactures dedicated plug/connector, so sold as universal.
Yes, expensive, have quick checked and seen the one above as cheap as $80 and as expensive as $140. SO, not really bad compared to the Hella plastic one.
