    Hey Guys,

I have been using the forum to find answers for my many questions about plowing over the years. I thought you might get a kick out of this. We use the same basic equipment you use to clear lots but our contracts are building roads over frozen lakes in northern Canada.

And you don't even have to worry about putting salt down!

Neat video! Did you flood any roads to thicken the ice, or just work with the natural thicknesses?

Great job on the video. Looks like a lot of fun living and working up there. What resort is that up there where you did the work? Maybe I need to make a visit to catch some pike like that.

Great video! I would love to see a show about all the work that goes into building the ice roads, instead of all the made up drama they put in the IRT show now.

Great video! Looks like a hell of an adventure of a job.

Word. Remember when it first came out and it was all trucks, equipment, ice, scenery, and driving? That was cool.

Now I watch mainly because it's something mutually tolerable for my wife and I...

It was up at "North Haven Resort" www.northhavenresort.ca on Utik Lake. They have monster northerns that regularly push 50" in length!

We were lucky last year, it was looking like we were going to have to flood but then we had a solid week of -30 weather after we opened up the road and the ice froze down to the 28" of blue ice required for a fully loaded semi-trailer.
