First time I got to drive the truck in the snow, I seem to get a slight vibration and humming in 4wd.

still have a warranty from the place I bought the truck from, I was going to check the fluid in the transfer case as well as the u-joints and all the mounts
before I bother to bring it back to them.

I grabbed the front driveshaft and I get about 1/2-3/4" of play in it, is that normal?

front pinion bearing, the driveshaft was moving up and down as well.

didnt notice the up and down movement of the driveshaft until today when I crawled under there for one last look before I dropped it off.

even though I wouldnt have to pay for the repair im glad it wasnt a transfer case.
