in order to attach pictures, when you are posting, scroll down and you will see where it says "Manage Attachments"...click on that and you will be able to browse your desktop for an image or choose a specific url where your image is located...once you have your image, click upload and it should appear (if it is not too large).

You need to make sure the image is within the specifications for the site...if it is to large, you will need to re-size the image in order to fit the site requirements or it will not be uploaded to the site

Another way to do it is use an image host website like http://www.photobucket.com, sign up there, and then you can link to by clicking on the picture icon (the one square with yellow background, mountain foreground) Using an image hosting site generally allows for bigger pictures on the forum.

Heres the difference...

vs.

Edit: noticed there isnt much difference!

Oh Whoa is me... where is the upload pictures option?

If I remember correctly.... when I was typing up my 'post' in the Jeep forum I was only offered to upload a 'URL' and had no option to upload an image from my computer. So now.... even if I could find that elusive 'upload image' feature..... now I cannot figure how to edit my existing 'post' to add my pictures. Can someone explain this from start to finish so I can insert my pictures into my existing 'post'?

Is if possible that I do not have authority to post images because I am a 'Junior' member?

Thanks.... Craig :dizzy:

Thank you... pictures now posted... read this plz

I was looking for everything but the 'paperclip' tag. I haven't seen that used for years. So I failed to recognize that as my 'link' to posting pictures. It kinds of reminds me of the 90 year old man that told his wife he was going to quit playing golf because he couldn't see the golf ball past 30 feet. His wife told him to take his 103 year old uncle because he could still see like an eagle. So they went golfing and the 90 year asked his uncle if he saw where his golf ball went. His 103 year old uncle said "of course I did". So then the 90 year old said "So where is it?"..... where upon his uncle answered "I forgot".
