hey i was just wondering how much it normally cost to fill an 8 foot v box spreader with salt? I'm not sure what the price of salt is?

It all depends on the capacity of the v box, if it has boards or not and how much the salt is heaped on. :D :D

Costs $40 for a smaller 4 yard spreader to be filled around Akron Ohio. At least the's what he tell's me it does. With your own salt bunker it would be much cheaper.

salt is up to 70.00 a ton now in Jersey, we where getting it for 52.00 but now everyone at Port Newark is out and it went up. We get it by the triaxle load to our salt bin. So anyway if you put 2 ton on a truck then it would run you 140.00 a load.
