How much is a cablecontroled set-up worth?

I found a 7' 6" cablecontroled set-up that looks like it's only been used a couple of times. The paint is faded alittle but no rust and the cutting edge is like new. The truck mount has some surface rust but looks solid. Is $2000 to much? What should I offer?

    Thanks for the help,

I think the seller is nuts asking so much for this. If anything it may be worth that as an antique for a museum in another few years. I believe the cable control system has been out of production for well over 15 years. Even if it is in good shape you will probably need some sort of mounting hardware to put it on a truck that is from this milenium and there in lies your problem. $2000 for this plow working on a truck that starts and will pass a safety check might be worth it but just the plow??? This thing is three generations behind the times, consider carefully before spending any money on it.
