Just got done putting a old cable control Western 7 1/2 ft on my 97 Dodge 1/2 ton short bed. 318 small block motor.
At this point I have 550# of ballast behind the rear wheels and was wondering:
How much will the front end drop on this truck when I lift the blade? Right now I'm at 2.5" of drop. Seems like alot. I'm taking my measurement from the front of the truck undercarriage-shouldn't make a difference anyhow.

get a set of 2" spacers for the front and back , and rancho nitrogen shocks and it will solve your problem of a droopy truck. this solve the problem in both of mine for about 300 bucks
