How long are you willing to wait for parts?

    I placed an order with a company that is a sponsor of this site back on December 5th...I'm still waiting for the parts to arrive. An e-mail inquiry has gone unanswered.

    I'm trying to be loyal and support Plowsite's sponsors but my patience is wearing thin. If we get the storm that they're predicting this week it'll be the fifth event that I've gone through since placing the order.

    Where do I draw the line?

    is it from central parts?

    there was a couple other people that were having problems with here. let me know, i only live about a half hour from them, maybe i can buy the parts for you and ship them.

    O man u have more patience than me.... i would call my credit card company after two weeks if I didnt have something and they wouldnt contact me back.

    If I were you, dispute the charge, and get the parts somewhere else. Sorry if im being disloyal to a sponsor mods, but business is business.

    I wouldn't of emailed them. I would have called them direct. Personally I hate to have parts ordered, because half the time they don't come in on time, or they come in and they sit at the place you ordered it at for a extra week because they don't call you and the only way you get the part is by stopping there asking if it is there. Then the guy behind the counter is like oh somehow we missed this one when it came off the truck. Making is seem like they got a tractor trailer completely full of stuff. Hope you get your parts before it snows again.

    I oreder the parts and if I do not have tracking number within 2 days I cancel it and go someplace else. I have no patience waiting for parts.
    If its a special order that's another story.

    i have been waiting for parts from "equipment specialist" since earley november:rolleyes: i have talked to everyone in the location i think, including managers and "the parts are on the way" BS

    i have since ordered the parts from angelos and got them with no problem.

    i ordered a mount from CPW on 12-31 and today they said back-orderd but the guy called back and said it's on the way so i am satisfied with them so-far

    but if it is a part from mowpart (free gal of fluid film) just ask "BUGTHUG" whathe thinks of them ;)

    Parts Ordering sucks

    Man I know what your going through. I ordered the left and right light harness for a MM2 weeks ago. Finally the order showed up. I only know that because I stopped there today. They promised to call me when it came in and of course never did. So when it's my turn at the parts counter the guy says "yeh I just looked at those a few minutes ago, I'll go grab them. He comes back with the right side harness only and says the other one's on back order.:angry::angry::angry:

    To answer your question, I wait no more than 4 business days for the UPS truck to come. If he is not here, someone is in trouble....
