Im looking to buy a used 3/4 ton truck and possibly/hopefully mount a winch on the rear. It will mainly be used for winching trees doing tree removal work. 10,000 pound pull will be plenty of power. How easily can this be done etc...etc... ?

They do make winch mounts that will go right in your receiver hitch if you are setup for trailering. Some even plug right into 7 pin wiring and use power that way. Depending on how often you plan to use it, might be worth looking into.

x2 on the receiver mount. That way it will be tied right to the frame.

How big of a truck do you have? You could end up winching your truck to the tree instead of the other way around......
