I'm looking at a used Meyer plow. It is not mounted to anything so how do I know if it's good? Is there a way to test the pump while it's sitting on the ground?

You can hook u a battery and gauges to it and use jumper wires to open and close the valves, a big bar to check the lift piston. A big pain!! Know any one with a Meyers on there truck you can use to test it
    Good Luck
