Since Plowsite has educated me about wings,..I keep seeing jobs that I could
do better if I could put wings on my 7.5

I would probably take one or both off for some of my resid drives so I am thinking
that it needs a fairly simple disconnect.

Wondering if anyone has made their own and can provide photos ??

thanks

wondered if they were even available for the 7.5 and if they would be
smaller/less aggressive angle,..etc.

considering how many custom parts we have made -- thought I could make my own
if I could learn from others

wings

you know the mass produced wings are ok they fit every plow made buy man ,but you can tear them up in a hurry , bend the bracket rip the rubber off ! you got to strike a balance between hd and not over powering the pump .i saw some a guy made as tall as the blade Had a good angle ,man they were stout .edge's made out of layered 1/2 3 ply belting bolted together for stiffness .but it left the area so no pictures .

I made some for my 8' meyer, but money was the issue. Mine aren't removable, from experience I would say if you can afford the 250 for prowings just bye them and save yourself some trouble.

I just looked at Angelos. The Prowings are 179 NOT including shipping. So Northern tool is cheaper at 129. But Angelos does have the Vibrator I need and the swing away holder for the spreader is cheaper than Northern so I will get it there instead. Thanks for the infowesport

i made my own set for my 8' western, but bought the prowings for the 8 1/2 blade i have. I like the ones i made easier and are stronger. The prowings rubber ripped off the first nite. Now i have 1/2'' thick epdm plastic that works muh better on them.

The same goes to my own wings. I will try to find my camera to get a picture of them.

I got mine for 129 plus ship came to 186.95. I just looked due to an email I got and found they went up. Not just on the wings but on everything snow related. Even the poly shield is 44 now. was 34 last week. Sorry guys but looks like Angelos is now the cheapest. I ordered my wings on the 22nd of Dec. At the beginning of this week they were still 129. sale must be over

I think I will check out the 2 sources you have suggested and consider the
$180+.

Where do you find the alternate rubber material for the scraper part ??

And, without starting a new thread,.. when do you find your wings to be most
helpful??
