Hire subs or operators?

    Looking for input on whether it is better to hire subs or hire operators?

    Do you prefer your groceries bagged in paper or plastic?

    Everyone's situation is different...
    What works best for one may not be best for another...
    There are good and bad sides to both.

    You may want to give some info about your operation before you can put any weight to any responses you may get.

    It depends on what overhead expense you want for equipment, and what works for your situation. I've found that I run close to 50-50. I always say I'll use subs less when I add more equipment, but then I just keep adding more work too because I've got some really dependable subs! Everyone is a little bit different, just do what seems affordable.
