Upgrade your Boss plow with these HID kits. 100% plug and play, no wiring, no cutting, no splicing. Completely reversible and installs in 5 mins flat. Designed to work specifically with the Boss bulb (9006). These kits are German engineered (not the Chinese eBay crap) and every one is hand tested. Simple as changing a bulb!! Except a boss replacement bulb is almsot $30 at a retailer... why not upgrade!!

Have tons of kits to fit the 2004-2009 style boss plows (oval headlights) Also have kits to work with the new headlights also. Also have kits to fit every brand of plow!!

    FREE shipping!!

Where is the ballast mounted? Those are not waterproof and wont last long if you mount that on the headgear.
Who makes the ballast and what you mean German engineered? You mean a copy of the Hella Gen 3 ballast but assembled in China? How is that better?
No separate power wire for the ballast directly off the battery? That will eventually fry the small 22 gauge wires that power the plow lights.

Apparently this forum has antiquated controls where you can't edit or delete your own threads? Typos do occur...

If it was ebay... they would be left on ebay... all ballasts look the same... they are based on the same design

Ballast is mounted inside the housing.
German engineered and manufactured. Never enters china....
HIDs consume MUCH less energy than traditional halogens and produce MUCH less heat aswell... so they're actually easier on wiring than halogens

Seems like a lot of people here have a lot to say with no knowledge of the systems, although they make themselves seem like it? Such a negative group of people... if your not interested move along... no reason to dump on a perfectly good product that people have been very satisfied with

The inrush of current to fire up the ballast is the problem. Once the system is running it does drop down and use less power then a halogen bulb you are correct there.

I wouldn't be saying its fine to run 20amps over a 22awg wire. What is the reason the kits out there that people run on there cars will only fire up one lamp instead of two or flicker? But non of this will happen with your kits right?

Nobody is dumping on you its constructive criticism, we just want to know what kind of junk you are trying to sell to us.

You will get tons of glare as the halogen glare box is not designed for the amount of light you are putting in it. so the light just goes all over the place. Bright white light and snow do not go together anyhow.
