I have a 01 silverado and when i got my ultramount installed a couple of days ago they installed a switch instead of running the plow lights of the truck lights. were they confused by the HID ballast unit? can i wire it myself?

I am not sure of the Western lighting system, but if you have a 2001 Chevrolet Siverado, you have negative to excite headlights. Not HID. I know the neg to excite lights take isolation modules to work, which usually raise the cost of the plow 1-200.00
