help with wobble on the blade

    hi guys new to the site i have 97 f 350 disel with a 8 foot western prow plow conventol mount. my problem is when you raise the balde if grab the leftside or the right side and pull up on it wobbles up and down looks like metal is a little worn is there suppose to be a shim in it to keep it form wobbling any ideas would help

    from all of the westerns that I have seen this is normal

    You want some side to side "wobble". The plow will follow the ground better. BUT, the little pivot bolt in the center might be worn out....hit something to hard the bolt gets bent and eggs the hole out.

    either change the a frame which there about 250.00 to 300.00 new or on bolt it weld a plate over it drill the hole and pop the bolt back in.
