Out plowing today and my 2011 dial type switch is getting warm to hot.
Same problem with my 2007 NNBS (which also sometimes doesn't switch unless I turn truck off and restart)

Any other newer trucks with this? Anybody know how its wired behind ther, how to get lower dash off. (Should I buy the Chiltons or the GM service manual? Both are between $100-$150

    Nobody else notice this?
Any recommendations on which repair manual is better, more detailed?

I probably should have brought the 07 in but didn't before it expired. I kind of want to fix it myself, just need to figure the dash out and trace the wires. I just can't imagine what it could be,. I want to check out the circuit board for shorts etc Thought with two trucks doing this, how lucky could I be the only one.
