help my o/s western just took a squirt

    i've got an o/s western, and i was moving my truck the other day to push another truck with it when it starting pissing fluid all over the place. i chained it and looked, it's coming from the bottom of the resivor assembly, it looks like it comes down a little, and there way be a gasket or seal that goes there??? if i take that apart are parts gonna come flying out?? better now than in a foot of snow!! any help would be appreciated. thanks, pete

    If you mean the bottom piece that the bolt goes through to bolt the pump assy to the carriage then yes, there is an O-ring in there and no, pieces will not come flying out. Parts available at any western dealer.
