Remove the black cover from the motor after 4-5 saltings and remove the salt buildup from the motor(s) on the far left and right side. This morning, I was unable to salt until I chipped away at the build up. The spinner wouldn't spin but all was good after the 5 minute, on the spot maintenance. If you are anal, I would suggest it every 2 saltings.

    Just an FYI.

We bought a Tornado this winter season and it has been used maybe 6-7 times and its already back getting serviced as the conveyor belt quit working. And we power wash it out after every event.

I too had a few problems with the belt not working, the shear pin breaking but I have to admit, once they replaced the pin, and we tightened the belt, we have been good to go. In fact, now that these problems are fixed, I don't mind them one bit.
