Winter is over. Summer is on it's way. Im packin up the snow stuff and puttin a good highway tire on my 2500 HD. It sometimes carries several tons of equipment and materials. Anyone know a tire that gets a lot of miles without wearin out and delivers good mpg without a bunch of noise?

You can’t go wrong with anything Continental they make the absolute best truck tires. On my trucks of that size I run a Nitto ridge grappler because I like the aggressiveness of it but all my dump trucks run Continentals. Either one will do you right.

Something with weight rating need, rubber compound for higher operating temps and poor traction in mud is your best bet

Interesting, you dont seem to be interested in stopping distance or being able to turn corners.

I run BFGoodrich Commercial T/A on all my 1 ton vans.

Have had good luck with them

WE have had good success with the Nitto Dura Grappler for summer use.

I agree - but it sounds like banter at the dinner table. Everything get changed to p00p or ****. Teenagers...

I just put on Michelin Agelis Cross Climate tires on my 3500 pickup. They seem to be exactly what you're looking for.

Look for tire mfg’s that offer high mileage warrantees like Michelin / Uniroyal
