I Have Had A Good Year So Far...hope 08 Is Better...snow Every Other Day Would Be Nice....

Well, I had 6 events from January to April, and another 4 in December of this year with 1 more tonight to round out 2007. It's shaping up to be a good "year" and the SEASON is looking decent as well!

2 plows and about 4 or 5 salt runs.hope we all have a great jan,feb,march..just now getting all the equipment up to par.. think snow

plowed 4 times now I think. Then 1 add'l ice accumulation & about a 2 treatments in between each storm from thaw & freeze cycles.

Yeah, I've plowed.
and shoveled
and ice melted
and gotten little sleep
and even moved drifts (wind, no snow)

Since I was about 13-14..............Dad's tractor

Last 23 years...............have had a plow for personal use.....always had a large driveway..and a bad back. Sold the plow one year and got a snow blower....too damn cold, had another plow next year..my snow shovel has to have a heater.

This Dec was the 5th snowiest month on record.

We have had all the tucks out for three pushable events. Been out salting a couple of times and had the loader and pusher box out once. So far so good for central Illinois

2 events. I am ready for spring to get here. Already working on mowing contracts for the 08 season. It will snow when it wants, if ever

We plowed 2 times in november and 7 1/2 times in december so far and applied 3000 gallons of liquid de icer. Best decemder we have had in the last few years.

ive got 3 pushes in so far... all back in early to mid dec. 2 of them were smaller but oh well.... i need a lot more thou before im ready to start lwan stuff again.

Lots of potential little in the snow department. Dec total about 14," 11" in 24hrs. Lots of saltings with 3pushes. If the winter goes on like this all will be good!!
