I have a 91 bronco with the old western conventional mount (before the unimount)

Currently installed is a joystick controller... how will I go about converting it to the handheld? I bought it, it has the 6 pin plug, Just haven't been to the garage to check it out yet.

If its a cable operated joystick then no go, if its electric joystick then plug and play.

You will have to swap out power units to a Unimount style, get a truckside control harness and controller. It will probably cost upwards of $1,000 by the time you're done.......that's for used stuff.
