Just checking to see what you guys get for mileage on a 93 Chevy 2500 with a 350 engine. I checked it today and I was getting 9 mpg. My 89 Chevy half ton gets 12 mpg with the same engine.

10-11 most of the time with my 97, 350 Vortec. Gets a whole 13 on an interstate road trip.

Your 1500 may have the same size engine, but the gearing is probably different in the 2500.

Thank you for the come backs. I don't know if the differentials are the same or not, but I have noticed that the 93 is harder to keep at a highway speed than the 89. The 93 just wants to get up and go. 55 turns into 65 in a heart beat if I don't really watch it. Maybe a dealer can tell me more about the differentials.
