fuel gadge

    I have a 2005 Chevy 3500 duramax dually with dual tanks went to get fuel yesterday and filled up got back in the truck and the fuel gadge went down to empty and the light came on and it has not moved since. does anyone know what is going on with this thing?

    I had that happen on my C4500. The dealer said it needed to be reprogrammed. The computer sensed a rapid change in fuel level and shut the fuel transfer pump off. A couple of days later the fuel transfer pump needed to be changed also. $85.00 for the reprogram and $200+/- for the transfer pump.
