    hi boys
anyone know whats involved in straightening out
the front bumper on a 04 stepside..
my daughter bumped it enough to push the rt side
to the left and close the gap between the body on the rt
and open it on the left.
i'm surprised the air bags didnt go off

Bumper brackets and outer braces are almost paper thin (as with most late model stuff), so their easy to work with if you pull the bumper off first and straighten them. Can have the bumper off in 10 minutes max. Two bolts on each of the side braces at the rad supports, pop the head lights and grill out, then four more bolts down through from the top. More than likely it bent the brackets that are actually bolted to the bumper, and not the tabs that are welded to the frame horns...but even those aren't too tough to work back into shape with some precision hammer work. They bend rather easy so you wont likely even need any heat.
